Mark Rippetoe: Strength and Prevention of Injuries

“Strength is protective against injuries, since working at the edge of your ability is where you get hurt. Strong muscles make stable joints, and the knees, shoulders and elbows of an athlete who can correctly squat 500, press 275, and deadlift 600 pounds are much less prone to injury than the same joints on an athlete whose strength coach thinks that balance balls and light weights are a better way to train.”

Someday…

I would like to have one fat bike, among other bikes of course 🙂

Just need to make some storage space, somewhere, someday….

Finally snow, again!

Time to enjoy riding on the snow!

Some 15-20 cm throughout the city with temperatures -5 C to + 2 C during the day.

These 2 photos are from friday Feb 6th.

Riding clothes, leaving it to dry. Our company gave us a room to store the bicycles and installed the hooks and bike parking in it. Pretty neat considering that not a lot of companies in my country would do this 🙂

And one from sunday evening, Feb 8th, when i went to buy some chocolate for cakes, milk and fruits :). Yeah, we have supermarkets that are normally open on sunday even until 10PM.

-2 C and bright sky. The light on the right side is from some UFO :D
